Hey everyone.. I had a problem with my CompuStar Alarm back in May.. and what my problem ended up being was the remote was attached to a metal keychain, thanks for the advice worked great after I attached it to a zip tie lol.. Ok.

My New Problem..

So I am cleaning out my car and just to mess around I alarmed my car so my friends couldn't get into it.. the windows were down... Car is now alarmed... My friend reaches in the passenger side unlocks the door, opens the door, slams the door and is now sitting in my back seat... Guess what? The alarm never went off!!!!! Ahh I started flipping out.. So my stereo could be stolen out of 1the entire passenger side of my car and I would never know until it was too late!!

And.... My remote is acting up again!!!! Takes forever to Arm & Unarm!

What should I do now???? Help Please my anxiety is through the roof when I am trying to sleep..

Girls can do anything guys can do!!

I agree with bobk, also most alarms need time to "set-up". If this incident happened within approx. 5-10 secs after arming your alarm will not go into full trigger. Test it yourself and see how long it actually takes before the alarm will actually notice an intrusion. Arm it then open it within 5-10 seconds after arming then keep lengthening the time after arming. Just a thought. As far as the remote, they are tempermental. Hope that helps somewhat =)
