Hey all. . .Hoping someone out there can help me out on  how to properly wire a PPI 2240 2-channel amp with two 10" MB Quart RWC254 reference subs. The subs have DVC & are rated 2 x 4ohm.  Unfortunately I have lost the manual for the PPI amp so wanted to find out on here if anyone knew exact specs & wiring possibilities for this setup before I went ahead and started install. Thanks in advance for the help!

I"m not sure but i can't seem to find your MB Quart RWC254

did you mean  the RWE254?
Well the RWE254
is ranged at 300 Watts RMS and your PPI 2240 amp (nice amp by the way love it!)
is rated at
120w RMS x 2 @ 2 ohmz
60w RMS x 2 @ 4 ohmz
240w RMS x 1 @ 4 ohmz
Correct me if im wrong.
Go with option 2 wiring!

hey 94legend.....Thanks for the response, and you were right on the RWE.....one more stupid question for you, when connecting the + and - internally on the woofer, should I use a neg cable? pos cable? or does it not matter? I figure it to be a neg, but want to make sure.....also, this wiring method is known as series/parallel right? Thanks again in advance for your help, its much appreciated!

Not a problem, i don't consider any of your questions stupid. Your just curious george. Its best to ask do it right, than to guess and do it wrong.

It shouldn't matter, make sure the end of the wire are clean and fatk,   The terminal should be gripping it tightly. Correct, this method is known as series / parallel.
