I need to Y and/or boost one A/V signal to two for two monitors.  Can I just use a splitter or will the video signal be too weak and need to be boosted?  What about the audio portion, just Y them?  Is the audio signal more difficult to weaken vs. video or also need to be boosted? thanks  What's a good product?

A Video amp should work fine. Don't know the model I used, but the case and text was the same as some other brands I have seen. They probably all work the same, just don't pay less than $15 (dealer) for one.
Audio doesn't need to be amplified. Do you have speakers in the monitors?

The audio actually needs to go to three inputs.  An aux. input device to the HU and then two screens, one of which has a speaker and the other IR.  How to I split to 3?  thanks

Do you have an A/V switcher? Where is your sound signal coming from, what source? Are you getting it directly from a DVD player?
