A friend of mine wants me to install a navigation system in there 2002 Lincoln LS, but they do not want the system to be intrusive. I never installed a nav system, but I am definetely up for the challenge. Howver I have no idea what system to suggest. I was thinking about telling her to get an indash dvd player, but The screen will be blocking here vents. Should I tell her to get a mobile all in one unit? Thanks in advance.

The Avic-N1 is a good unit, but you said the screen will be blocking the vents. If this is a problem you might want to look at the Kenwood DDX-7015. It is a double din unit and the screen flips down and will not block the vents.
