I have a DEI revenger siren. I think when it emits a "long chirp" it sounds like the thing is going off. It's not the arm/disarm chirp. It seems like when the siren gets a short pulse it chirps, and when it gets a longer pulse, it goes into full alarm. Is that how it works? So there is no "long chirp?" Just full alarm?
I can't seem to find any info on this siren. There's nothing in the owners manual on how to fudge with the siren chirp volume or remove tones. Is there a manual around?
Thanks!

Are you sure you are not mistaking the zone fault / bypass sound?

Well, that's what I think I'm hearing. I think I'm hearing the bypass sound as a snippet of a full alarm sound. But not the arm/disarm chirp that I'm used to.
Bascially, if I do a zone-bypass arm, (hit arm mutiple times in under 5seconds) I'll get a number of response chirps equal to the # of times I pressed, and then a brief alarm wail...
I think that's supposed to be the "long chirp" described i the manual.
Thanks

First thing I would do is confirm all your default settings and compare them to the manual as it states.
Then, I would enquire the alarm system to see if there are any defective / open zones which are being bypassed.
The system will alert you with LED blinks as well. Watch and listen upon disarm again.
Let us know.
