i can get a CS-2002 for cheap (as if they werent that to start with crimestopper CS-2002 - Last Post -- posted image. )
i have a 1997 jetta, it already has a factory alarm, so i want to use the cs to add trunk release and keyless entry.
first, for the vw with the key in the door, one turn unlocks dd, second unlocks all doors. if i hook into the wires of the dd lock with the alarm and press the button once, i am guessing it will unlock the dd. second press will unlock the all the doors. does this sound right? that is how i want it?
and second, do most alarms output a 2 sec pulse? if unknown, does anyone know if the crimestoppers do? i have vacuum locks.
here is the manual for the alarm if that helps anything.

ok i found the pulse in the manual, 3 sec. stupid me.
and another thing, it has a power sunroof, but not windows (crap), so if i hold down the lock button on the remote, will it do the same as holding the key in the door "lock" position? (close sunroof)
