The antenna is mounted in the upper center of the windshield. the installer (certified by DEI) told me that is the best place. He re-check all wires and found all fine, because all works well except the remote paging. He suspects about the remote control but i want be sure because i do not want buy incorrect component.

All comments are welcome.

that is the best place for the antenna.  also do you have any electronics close to the antenna like a radar detector, electronic mirror or neon lightning?

First off...Dan you need to see what is up with my job. This is making me crazy - Last Post -- posted image. Second...there has been a couple of problems with dei and their remotes. I just had my remote mess up on me today. If all the wiring has been checked you may have a remote that is going out. These remotes don't like to be dropped, so I suggest you be extra careful with them.

Daniel,  there are not any electronics near of the antenna. Do you suggest move to another place?.

I think that you are correct, Teamrf.    The remotes seem very fragile. So bad, because i have only two months with my 791 and paid $300 dlls and get an alarm like an $70 dlls.

thanks guys.

Teamrf is right about the remotes being fragile. Two way system are the worst. They are like little old lady. Once they fall to the ground, it's hard to get them back to the orginal shape they were in. Happen to me twice. Customer drop the remote while paying for the remote start job. Good learning experience for customer at my expense.
Securecar, only way to test your problem is to program another remote and use it for a week or so. That is the only way I can think of to isolate where the problem is coming from. From the your post that I read I can say for certain that the antenna mounting point and the brain of the unit is not a problem since you have the unit working over a month. The problem most likely be the remote.
