What do I need to power a Dreamcast?

A power inverter maybe...??

12 volt to 110

yes a power invertor is what you need. i would suggest at least 400w and up, so your dreamcast wont be starving for power.

It depends on a ocuple things.If you are willing to delve into your DC deeper and do some test I am pretty sure the board itself runs off 5v/12v power so you might be able to get away with hooking something up direct (fused) to the mobo.I know this is how they had made the treamcast (portable dreamcast plugged into a cig lighter).
The easiest and simplest way however is to use a power inverter.I had a 400watt one running a 4" crt tv and an xbox.
Guess it depend on if you want to install the DC for good or not.
