1998 Pontiac Transport BCM

I am installing a remote starter in this van and am having trouble getting the factory alarm bypassed.  The kit is from Bulldog and their instructions show the wire I need as a ORANGE / black (-) located at the BCM above the passenger kick panel.  I found the wire, connected the FASD from the unit and it set the alarm off when the doors were locked.  I called their tech support and grounded the ORANGE / black directly to a body ground which was supposed to bypass the unit---that also set the alarm off.  Their answer was that I had the wrong wire; I probed every other ORANGE / black wire and they were (+).  The ORANGE / black wire I originally found runs into the blue clip in what I believe is the BCM and looks like #7.  Do I have the right wire or is there another wire I need to connect to?Mben

The door lock wires will only meter when turning the key in either door key cylinder. Also have to program the door lock pulse duration for 3.5 seconds to unlock the doors. On vehicles without the factory alarm, use lt. blue for lock and white for unlock. Find the wires in either kick panel. I hope it helps.how own your mind, control your life.
