need help with Passlock key II

I am having trouble finding the 'yellow wire' for the Passlock 2....on my '01 tahoe....anybody have this particular wiring diagram??...there are 3 or 4 yellow wires in the BCM ...I dont wanna start cutting...and Im not exactly sure how to measure the resistance with the volt meter for this wire....any help would be apprecitated!!

K...what exactly does it look like...is it by the ign switch???...and isthere only one yellow wire up there??..~~> new to this passlock key thing

It comes from the ign cylinder. It should be close to the ign harness, if not in.

take apart the steering column shroud. you can trace the wires you need off of the key cylander. it is most likely ORANGE / black and black

to measure the resistance for the passlock, you will need to trace and find the yellow wire and the BLACK/ orange black, cut the yellow wire and strip back the BLACK/ orange black wire. Put the negative connection on the dmm to the black wire and the other connection to the ignition side of the yellow wire, turn the iginition to the run position and record that value, then turn the run position and record that value, it should be half of the first recorded value and that will be your target...
