You need to place a relay to reverse the polarity of the signal from the Ungo alarm. Wire a 30/40 amp automotive relay like this:

  • 86 and 87 : constant 12 volts ( + )
  • 85 : Grounding Input from Ungo alarm
  • 30 : ( + ) output to trunk release wire

If you need anything else, just post your questions. Good luck.

Hey sach_deva, I have just finished installing a Ungo alarm into my car and it works great.  I hooked up all the features.  If you ever need any help with ungo alarms I can help you.

I'm suprised people still don't understand the concept/function of a Relay or how to hook them up (Even the diagram is stamped on the relay).  I suppose using a power transistor instead of a relay would be even harder to understand.
