Hi all,

I am wanting to install a cruise control in my 04 Colorado and was looking for info. I have the Rostra cruise I pulled out of my Express van and was dismayed to find the Colorado is drive by wire, and to add to the problems it is a 5 cylinder engine. Does this mean I can only use the factory GM setup or can I put my actuator cable to the throttle pedal? I beleive I can come through the firewall and pull downward pretty easily, not the way I would prefer to install but I don't see any other option. I also need the location of the VSS and Tach wires for this truck as Rostra does not have the info on their site.

Does the factory harness support the installation of OEM cruise or am I out of luck?

Thanks

Mark

Check with Rostra. I think its like the fullsize trucks where you just replace the whole arm with a cruise arm and thats all there is to it.

There is no arm on the throttle body just a servo motor with no exposed linkage

I mean the turn signal/cruise switch.
I cant find info at Rostras site but I think you just put in the switch and it has cruise through the pcm built in already.
Dont quote me on that though
