anyone think yahoo auctions is safe?

yes paying with a credit card is good, and they will protect u from fraud.  i used paypal when i got scammed, got my money back.  i hope u do get that head unit, it is tight. i was scammed on a W7 auction.  i found the dudes address on the internet, he lived a few hours from me, i was about to take a road trip if i didnt get my cash back.  and most of the sellers are new probably because they scamm people change there user names then do it again. thats just a thought. but u should be safe paying with a credit card.  good luck, keep us informed.would u like your chicken original or extra crispy?

First off, as an eBay seller I must ask, why did you bid before you were sure you were gonna pay the guy? That said, NowYaKnow's detective work is more than enough info for me to not give him any money. If you do, use PayPal or a CC and let me know how it turns out, thats a killer deal.Nik

The website is gone (check it www.danmarkelectronics.com).  Enough said (he probalby did not get the HU).(1) Kenwood Excelon Head Unit KDC-X589 (24 bit Burr Brown DAC, 3 X 4 volt RCA).

(1) RF Punch 250A2 - running the components.

(1) Hifonics 6.5" Atlas Components (18db crossovers).
