I wanted to know if any dvd player or tv tuner would work if I connected them to my AVIC-N1 via RCA cables.  If only some specific ones work, can someone please post them up? THANKS

If you connect another video soruce with RCA cables then it should work with any DVD or tuner. You just can't control them using the HU, you still have to use the remote for that external source so you need able to see it. Not as clean as connecting it using the IP-bus connection, then you can use your HU to control it. However, they have to be pioneer specific so the cost is high.

The Pioneer TV tuner is a little pricey, but it is a 4-channel diversity tuner and comes with the antennas - GEX-P6400TV & you can control it on the N1 screen.

DVD - Right now, they only have a 6-disc DVD changer that you can control on screen(XDV-P90). VERY Expensive!!

Experience gained is directly proportional to the amount of equipment destroyed - break it & learn!
