I have installed a audiovox vacuum cruise on a 98 dodge caravan. This van had cruise already but it wasnt working so the owner thought this route would be cheaper. My problem is that when the air conditioner compressor cycles the cruise drops speed usually about 7mph. If you hit resume or accel it will return to the speed it was at before the a/c cycled. I made sure there were no vacuum leaks and that it has a vacuum canister. I also checked all the wiring. i dont know what else to do. someone please help me

Probably should have went with a Full Electronic Cruise like Rostra 250-1223......
Be sure the cable has no more than 1/8 slack
Try a different Vacuum source
Adjust Gain Control ( if there is one )
