ok I was just at a JL audio dealer and in their ther stor they sell these subs called viper. I ask him aobut the subs and the guy told me it is made by the same makers as the viper alarm system. Anyway my question is has anyone every hear of it before and is it any good

Have never heard any of the viper products but from a name like DEI which manufactures Orion, a/d/s and others I am sure that its of high quality not to mention the specs look pretty good. http://www.viper.com/audio/viper/default.asp

Have never heard the Viper but the specs show that it is a cleaner sounding sub But to honest I can’t answer your question
