I recently started installing a remote start on a 2003 cheverolet pickup,  everything went fine except for one wire that i cant find.  i am using a remote start that works off of the factory keyless entry system. the wire i cant find is the one that runs to the door lock switch from wherever the signal from the keyless entry is recieved.  anybody have any ideas? please let me know and thanx for any info!

The BCM should be in the drivers Kick panel. Identified by the wire harnesses facing the rear of the car.  There should be a Lt. Blue wire in a brown plug.  Test it using your fatcory remote ,it should show 12v+ when you press the lock button on your remote.  If you need a negative trigger to activate your remote starter you will need a relay to change polarity.
