Wire Colors for 555L

Is there anybody that can provide assistance?  The main wire I'm trying to find is the wire that carries the R-code.

First of all there is a list of wires and instructions that you should have with the instruction manual.  If you don't have this I will try to help anyway. First Rcode bcm side will need to be connected to the smallest yellow wire in the ignition harness ( you must cut this wire so make sure it is it, It may also be another color that is why you should look in the install manual it will give the wire color for your vehicle in it) then connect this wire to the wire you cut on the computer side ( the side going away from the key).  Next connect the Rcode ign side to the other side of the wire ( the side going towards the key).  Status input is for the alarm to turn it on so hook it up to a second ignition output.  As for the ground what you should use is the ground wire that is going to the passlock module ( also found in the ign harness, should be a small gauge black the same size as the Rcode wire ) but a clean ground can be used but it may not work as often ( and also will eventually fail ).  As for the obvious ones just hook it up to what they say.  If you don't have the install manual you should try and get one just to be safe.  You should be able to d/l it from DEI's website.Certified Security Specialist

Thanks for your help.  After I had written this message, I figured most of it out.  The only question was about the status input hookup, which you told me to hook up to a second ignition wire.  Anyway, thanks for everything, I'll let you know if I've got some sort of other problems hooking it up!!!
