i have 97 mountaneer. it says to wire the CB to the fuse block? wtf is a fuse block and how do i get to it? i dont know what i am doing btw

Yes ....that would work, unless you want to hard wire ( permanently wire )

Then you should go to the Fuse Box.......RED wire would go to Fuse Box & Black wire to GROUND
