Does anyone know how to program the crank time on a Rattler 259d remote starter. I tryed to get the info from DEI but they only gige you a 48 hour window of costumer support. After that you are at the mercy of one of their dealers.

no info on that model or any RS Rattler model on Directechs, but he 550ESP crank time is a programmable feauture. Menu #3, feature 5 (3-5) crank time is set at 0.6, first chirp is 0.8, 2nd is 1.0, so on, 1.2, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 4.0.

Hook it up to the tach wire and you won't need to program a crank time since it will monitor the engine and stop cranking when it needs to.
