2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder w/ infinity factory system.  The speakers are not working in the car with the exception of the center channel.  The tweeters play music but very low volume.  The other 4 speakers do not work at all.  We tried switching out the factory amp and still no luck.   Also, the mitsubishi dealer tested the CD player and said it was fine.  Any suggestions on what is going on here would be great.

one speaker in the back of the car is blown...the other plays a very minimal sound along with the front component speakers.  However the center channel plays normal and loud.  Could one blown speaker cause all the speakers to react like this?  The dealership tested the amp and it only they said it only plays one channel.

just checked the car again.. all speakers are blown with the exception of the center channel.  Guess this means i have to replace the amp and speakers.  I already have a new factory amp.  Could i just use any speakers or do i need to go with the same factory infinity speakers?

You can use any speaker, most aftermarket will be a 4ohm.
