 You know as well as I do, it ain't 4400 watts!  OK, 4400 watts at 25% distortion, 1Khz tone for 100mS...
But seriously, with 8 - 4 ohm coils, you will not be able to get 1 ohm.  As Jeff said, you need SVC woofers, OR if you have to get DVC woofers, get dual 8 ohm woofers (if they exist).  Also, even if you were to load the amp with 2 ohms, which IS an acheivable load with 4 DVC woofers, you would realize less than a 3dB difference (barely noticeable), your efficiency will improve, your damping factor will be twice as high, your distortion will be lower, the amp will run cooler, and it'll last longer.
Honestly, I don't understand why people INSIST on running an amp at it's maximum load, and I don't think I ever will...
