Viper 791xv dont remote start?

yea i just installed a 791xv into my Manual Tranny 97 Civic and i kno i hooked eveyting out right because it parking lights  work when tryin to remote start but doesn't start. for the neutral safety i just grounded it, i dont know anyother way to do it, so the car wants to start, i mean i can hear and see it on run postions but doens't crank??? do i need to hook somehting up to the clutch wire ???

791XV is not meant for a manual transmission, it is safety hazard. Pick up a unit meant for a manual transmission.

the clutch has a switch on it that breaks the connection to the starter wire.   if the pedal isnt pressed all the way down, the switch remains open.  you need to wire the starter connection after the clutch pedal switch.    however, its very unsafe to have a remote starter on a manual tranny, especially if your remote starter isnt designed for a manual.

what u mean after my starter is not cut to connect the viper so if i cut the clutch wire i wire both ends to each start side, like key side and start ?

do a proper clutch bypass and install the 689M manual tranny module and you're good to go....

as safely as can be done on a standard....
