Hi I am installing a Pioneer AVIC-D1 in my 04 Maxima w/out Bost and need to know where the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) wire is on the Unified Meter/AC Amp unit connectors just under the information screen.  There are 3 connecters that goto the unit under the screen, ones big and white and the other 2 are gray and smaller.  I feel that its on the big white one but dont know exactly what wire it is and have tried both the green with black stripe and light green one with no luck. Thanks

I have tried both green wires with no luck, the other two grey connectors are the only ones that list #'s on the pins and only go up to 22, so the white connector is the only one that I have tried the green wire on.  What does 8P stand for also? Thanks

There are three connectors that goto the Unified Meter and A/C Amp. . .2 grey and 1 white connectors.  The two grey connectors are labeled AMP so I am guessing they are to the A/C Amp.  On the WHITE connector I have tried both green wires (One with a black stripe on it and the other is a lime green color) w/NO LUCK! There is no brown wire! I have also tried other wires with no luck (Blue with black etc.).  I REALLY NEED HELP ON GETTING THE VSS WIRE ON A 2004 MAXIMA w/NO BOSE! Please anyone preferably someone who has installed a AVIC-D1 etc. in their own 2004 Maxima and got the right VSS wire.  I need to know this ASAP. Thanks everyone!

pin #26 /should be green at the unified meter amp, also the unit will work without the vss wire, just not as accurate, make sure you are at the unified meter amp. under the instrument cluster.
