Isobaric double tuned parallel band pass
Chamber one (VB1)is 1.1 cu.ft
With a 2” port 5.7” long tuned to 32.64hz
Chamber two (VB2)is .442 cu.ft
With a 3” port 9.3” long tuned to 60.38hz
This box will have fast bass and will also play deep. You will get about the same amount of output as a single healthy 8” in a vented enclosure
The red line is the way that the box will sound outside the car and the orange line represents roughly how it will sound in the car.
Make sure to give it 150 watts total at 4 ohms and if the amp has a subsonic filter set it to 30hz that will give you the ability to play even louder.
This box is big at 1.5 cubic feet, but good bass takes up space.
Don’t stuff the box, and don’t worry about the tuning frequencies. Just build it to the volume that I recommend along with the exact port lengths and it will sound great.
The sub in VB1 is wired out of phase so that they both move in the same direction.
