hey guys first post under this user name , i used to be on here but lost my login details :(

anyway i have this relay from a heated seat im trying to troubleshoot, can anyone tell me what pin does what ?  i,e what would be a feed/ground and what should be live when the relay is on. its a 1997 vw golf

to be honest i simply dont understand the diagram on the relay...thats why i asked ( im no electrical expert whatsoever)

Maybe I can help.

Give me the whole picture with the part number Name brand Etc. The top half of your picture is cut off.

Maybe we can look it up.

all thats missing is the vw/audi logo and part # 161 919 533

it has been suggest to the pin out is

T= 12v+ from switch

P/86 = heat sensor in seat

15/H = heat pad

31 =ground

how does that sound?
