Query- What are you planning on running off of this lighter or is it just for convenience? Need to know before going further.

Run a wire from your fuse block to where you want your lighter. You can hook it up either constant or when you turn your key on. Connect that wire to the center post
on the cig. lighter, run a wire from the side connection
of the lighter to ground. Make sure you fuse the wire coming off the fuse block i would use a 10 amp fuse.

Sorry for the disappearing act! Be sure not to install the lighter facing up as dimes, pennies and foil gum wrappers have a way of falling in and shorting out the circuit. you could also install a spst switch to turn it on/off manually for an extra little feature.(just a thought).
