IM DOIN A REMOTE START IN A 2006 FORD ESCAPE....I WANNA KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM THE PATS KEYS THE REMOTE START. I HAVE FORD FACTORY CODE ALARM. THE FAR AS I GOT IS IS HONKING 2 TIMES WHEN REMOTE START IS ACTIVATED. IT ALSO HAS A FACTORY LIGHT ON THE GAUGES THAT FLASHES FOR THE FACORY ALARM. HOPE U CAN HELP ME. THANKS

it might help to know what bypass PATS unit u are using(ie DEI, iDatalink, etc)

Also, the instructions for programming extra keys are in the car's owner's manual.

That means the hood is opened or the brake is being pushed..
