I just installed this Avital Avistart 4300 in my 1997 BMW 528i.

I have a problem, when I start the engine via remote starter, I noticed the engine takes more time to start, maybe 2 more revs. Why?

Sometimes, I need to crank it 2-3 times.

How did you hook it up? Did you use a tachometer connection or voltage sensing? When you say you need to crank it 2-3 times do you mean it just takes longer to start via remote or does it not start the first time?
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

Sometimes, it don't start even for the third time.

Voltage sensing.

OK, but when I start it with the key, it revs maybe 2-3 times but when I start it with remote, it revs 5-6 times?
