Sigma SG2 wiring

I have a 1995 Honda Accord in which the previous owner fitted and SG2.

I have had it back to 'alarm experts' twice, at £35 +VAT each time to have it repaired as the alarm keeps going off.

I have given up on getting it fixed and would like to know how to disconnect the inputs to the brain from the various sensors. I want to be left with remote central locking and flashing indicators during lock / un-lock.

Can anyone help and let me know what wires to the brain are from the sensors.

Two questions - 1. If I disconnect the siren wire, and the alarm is still being triggered, will this current draw (flashing lights etc) not wear my battery down ?

2.- I have been thinking about it, and would like to try to isolate the fault myself. I was thinking of isolating each sensor individually for a period of time to see if the triggering stops. Can you advise as to what colour / pin number the wires for the respective sensors go to? As far as I am aware, I have ultrasonics, ignition and door sensors. Definetly no bonnet/boot(trunk) sensors.

THis will not wear down the battery unless you get false alarms all night long . How often does this false happen. If you drive the car on a nornal basis the draw on the system will not affect the vehicle, of course unless this happends 50 times or more a night or during the day.

Who makes the SG2 system.... I  will try to find a wiring diagram of this system, but the best thing to do is unplug the shock sensor first ( unless it's built in ) and then trace your wires back to the door pin switch and the hood and the trunk if it was all installed.

Isn't it a bit early for you guys in Canada to bit up and about ?

The unit is made by Sigma.

The false alaram occurs every 10 to 15 minutes.

How would I find the shock sensor? Would you expect it to be built into the brain ? I have found the brain behind the dash with all its associated wiring and connectors.

I have to say, the alarm has been great, but I suspect it wasn't designed with an 8 year life. £35 for a new remote is a bit steep, but its a small price to pay for a good alarm.
