Hi there, could use some help.
I've got a 561R with 555l bypass on a 1999 silverado (new body style). Vehicle cranks and then dies immediately. I can try to remote start it multiple times...it never enteres long-tamper mode.
This is PassLock II correct?
I've got the blue/black on the 555l connected to the blue status output on the 561r satellite harness. I'm suspicious of this connection..it is not testing 0 ohms...what is best way to test it?. Is there an alternate wire I can use instead of the blue on the sattelite harness?
Any other thoughts would be great help?
Tack learning seems to be okay, so don't think that is it.
Your help greatly appreciated!

Can I test the blue/black status input by just tying it to ground during the remote start?
Any other help GREATLY appreciated.

Fixed it. Had pink wire on 555l hooked to sattelite harness instead of main ignition wire.
