1) so I need to find the tach wire in the engine bay.

--Gray/black (AC) @ the passenger side of firewall under the hood.

2)Also my high beams are flashing with my parking lights.  I have a negitive trigger with  330 ohm resistor on it going to the purple / YELLOW wire behind the parking light switch.  help

-- parking lights is purple / YELLOW (-) with a 1.4k ohm resistor. To flash headlights, it uses the same wire, but through a 1.8k ohm resistor. to prevent feedback on the parking ligh wire, diode or relay block them (isolate).

ok this is getting really frustrating.  I have 1.4k resistor on the lights, and the headlights are still flashing with the parking lights.  And I cannot find the tach wire for the life of me.  I do not have a plug of the passanger side with a grey/black in it, and I found a grey black on the plug closest to the firewall, on the dirvers side of the engine, but it is not a tach wire.  I am going to go crazy

parking lights are WHITE/ gray or BLACK / YELLOW (+) in harness running along top of firewall on drivers side, there are multiple wires in there same color so test carefully.
i don't remember what year they went from BLACK / YELLOW to WHITE/ gray so check for both.

every program i've checked says gray/black in black plug at pcm. sometimes the compustars have a hard time pickup up a weak tach signal. its one of the problems we're trying to get them to fix.
you may have to use voltage sensing or try using the alternator signal.

ok I am going to set it up to be alternator sensing, but it seems like I didn't get the parking lights.  now the headlights are flashing with turn signals.  I need some one to write out he relay for relay blocking since it has a rest resistance on it  Thank you all.
