06 town and country remote start

I am going to be working on a pretty basic model of this out of town for a friend and wanted to be sure I have everything I need. 1. Do all 06 models that have the keyless on the key have a Sentry Key? 2. Does the PKUCH2X Ignition and Starter input mean I don't hook those 2 wires up at the ignition harness? Dows the module take care of it through the Violet/Brown wire? Thanks

i believe with the new chrysler vehicles which have the negative starter wire, that module does the negative starter wire so the starter wire from the remote starts main harness gets hooked into the starter input on the module and not the ignition harness wire For ignition, i BELIEVE do not quote me, that the main harness ignition wire gets hooked to the vehicles ignition wire and then the ignition input from the module goes to the ignition wire as well If im wrong someone please correct me, but for my experience with chrysler vehicles ive done at my job, this is what needed to be done. I also dont know if you know this or not, however DO NOT use the 12 volt wire at the ignition harness, you MUST go to the battery. If you didnt know that then now you do, if you did, sorry for pointing it out, just trying to help

if your using an audiovox r/s by any chance you can use the (-) pulse while crank wire and hook that directly up to the chrysler negative crank wire and it will work without the need for any relay and resistor, ive done dozens of these this way and never had any problems or any comebacks.Mike Battaglia

can also use white red top of bcm for 12v , if using compustar use 150 ohms on -start wire.

Yes...that is the 2nd generation style SentryKey

You'll still have to hook up the (+) main ignition and starter wires...the module just saves you from having to wire your own relay and resistor to do the (-) starter.C Renner's Auto Electronix

At the top of the BCM there is a BLACK harness with 3 wires coming off of it. YOu can use 2 of those as your constant power feed. The Sentry system and 2nd start/ACC is easy to interface with as long as your bypass module has the option. I highly recommend using a bypass with the MUX wire bypass, this will save you time and hassles.Jeff
