hay all!

just installed a valet 562t and a GMBP bypass in this 01 grand am. works great. but the security light comes on when u rs. if u start it with key theres no light. the gmbp is a data bypass and only has 4 wires +,-,status, and data. has anyone else had problems with these early passlock 2 vehicles? i dont have a 555l available so i cant try any other bypasses. any help would be great. oh and yes i tried keysense and no the light doesnt turn off when the key takes over. only when u start with key.

Something silly but I have forgot before.......did you move the jumper pin from programming to operating postion?

I read this the other day, I would say it's worth a shot even though it's listed for a Cadillac it might be the same issue. Link
