I'm having a problem with the remote starter, it was working perfect but after 3 months the car starter turns on wen i unlock the door and the car does not turn  on with the key, it only turns it on with hte remote control, also wen i turn the ignition on with the remote, then i put the key in on position, press the brake and put  it in drive, evreything looks ok, but the ligths on the dash board (abs, oil, brake. all the ligths that came on with the starter ) stay on. Can some one please help me with this problem  and tell me what it can be.

thank you

did a shop install it or was it a self install? if it was done by a shop, bring it back, they will warrenty the unit and install if there was any trouble. As for the car starting when you press unlock, it sounds like a defective unit

For the starter it sounds as though the starter disable relay is faulty. Replace the relay adn this should fix the problem. Another thing to check for is that the ground is secure and absolute.
