it would take 2 group 31's sized batteries to propperly hold up to 5000 watts even with a highoutput alt. think of it this way the more power you need the greater the fluctuation between output at a given rpm. IF at idle you have the draw of nearly 500 amps alot will come from the battery. for a DAILY purpose it is good to allow this load to be shared with 2 batteries like Kinetik 2400's.Ack!
