Installing Remote Start.  Anyone know what type of clutch switch is used on this car?

I believe the Talon uses a N/O clutch bypass system. The starter will engage when it sees the clutch wire separated from each other. To test unplug the clutch switch connector from the mount and try to start the vehicle and if it starts then you will need to wire in a relay like this:
85: (-)2nd start output or status output wire of remote starter
86: Constant fused 12 volts ( if using the (-)2nd starter wire ) or use the starter wire from the remote starter ( if using the status output wire.
87a: one side of either cut wire at the clutch switch. * It doesn't matter which wire you choose from the connector as long as you cut it in half
30 : Other side of cut wire at the clutch switch
87: NO CONNECTION
NOTE: There will be two connectors at the switch so make sure you test both switches before cutting any wires.

make sure you solder this connection. it only takes 1 min of your time, but its the most reliable connection.
