Wow. Just wow. Listen, if they did keep 125 of your bucks, why not have another BB install it? I'm saying if it happened in our area, we would do what we could to correct it. While it may take up more of your time, you technically wouldn't be out the money then...

exactly!  u already paid them to install your unit...  instead of eating the 125, take your unit to a different best buy and give them the opportunity to correct the mistakes made by another.  i know ur frustrated with this situation..  im in the same boat at the moment.  but dont give up on a company because one person is struggling to work on your ride.  you cant sit here and tell me that you are/were 100 percent successful first try on every remote start/alarm that you have ever done.  with the complexity of car circuitry now a days, things take a lil more time to figure out and wire around.   patience bro, patience!

if at first u dont succeed........ lower ur standards

I myself was a installer for best buy for 7 years. I have seen my share of great installers and very bad installers. It all depends on the installers that are in place and train the new guys. Best buy did a mad a bad judgement a few years back when they got rid of their Dist Install Sales Trainer and started to combine positions and take focus away from the install bay. During the best years of Best buy's install department's they did things for their install bays that were sucsessful. The team I worked with was sent to New York for a weekend on Best buy, got to go to a basketball game, eat a ruth chris steak house and all this was on Best buy's pocket for our achivements. They stoped doing thisngs like this and stop carrying for the install bays. It is frushstarting to hear (even tho I no longer work for them) that all the hard work of the team I worked with in the past and myself did was for nothing.

As for the issue of not getting your $120.00 bucks back that is total bs and you need to call 1-800-best-buy and talk to them. That money is for a completed install and since they were not able to complete your install properly they have no right to keep your money.

Good Luck.

it sounds like he didnt really give them the chance to complete the install properly. I work for circuit city part time an it states on our work order that as soon as they sign the work order their is no return available for the labor. That doesnt mean we wont do it the few rare cases like that we have had we returned all of the customers money unless they are being a complete dck head. Why dont you go in there and talk to them calmly explain your case about the unproffesional atmosphere and the fact that you felt that you could have gotten a better job done if their was money handed over on the side. then when you get your money back bring it on over to us and let us have a stab at it.
