I am planning on installing a Astra 1000 in a 05 Tacoma using an Omega bypass.  Is there anything I should be aware of before starting this project?  Is it easy, medium, or difficult?  I have a decent knowledge of cars and electronics but I don't wanna bite off more than I can chew.

manual trans, or auto? Do you have a tech sheet?

Might make a difference of this being too much to chew.

2005 Tacoma is a pretty easy vehicle to work on, the immobilizer bypass may throw you a little bit of a curveball, but as far as the actual remote starter install goes, I'd rate it at about a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.

How is there web site for available documents and tech sheets? Have you talked to their cutomer service? Do they seem like they are willing to assist?  The job is failry simple as long as you are not in a hurry and able to do yur research and figure out your system.

This truck is an automatic. I figured the RS would be simple, just didnt know how hard the Omega bypass is to hook up to this truck
