I'm putting the finishing touches on my alarm rs and, I have ran into something that's kind of wierd. The alarms trunk output wire is gray(aux1) and WHITE/ red is the aux2. Okay I have wired my relay like this
87 to car trunk wire(+)
86 to grey wire alarm(-)
85&30 to 12v(+)
My question is the aux2 pops the trunk fine but the aux1 will not pop trunk,What am I doing wrong.?

grab your volt meter. connect red to constnat 12volts and take the black and connect taht to your aux. hit the aux and it should read 12 - 14.4 volts. if there is nothing, it might be that aux 1 is optional for programming. or you fried the output.

no no no. your aux 2 output is for your trunk release. You have to hold that button for 3 seconds for the trunk lid to open correct? The aux 1 output is for stuff like a window module and is factory programed differently. If you want to use aux 1 though, look in your manual and it will tell you how to reprogram aux 1. Which alarm you have?

Aux 1 on any Scytek should operate the trunk release, unless you've programmed a custom button configuration. Are you holding the button for several seconds?
