my Rockford Fosgate 600 amp. Why?
I just bought these from a friend. I had the newer 2 channel RF and this one did not have a bridge. I then bought a 600w RF amp off craigslist and this even seemed weaker than my 250 watt.my friend bridged the other voicecoil on my 12 but nothing, you can barely hear it. I'm thinking I need a much powerful amp. Just need confirmation. Thanks

EXACT model numbers? Both amp and woofers.
Without knowing what you are working with, we can't help.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

OK... The 600 watt amp, is it a mono or stereo amp? (and pretty much every amp can be bridged, there are VERY few exceptions to that rule) Were you running one channel to each voice coil, or what? I still can't really make out what exactly you are saying from your OP.
If you put one voice coil out of phase, this is why you couldn't hear it. Describe exactly how you were hooking things up, step by step, with both amplifiers.
I expect that you are connecting something incorrectly. One more note, the output difference between 250 watts and 600 watts ISN'T going to be so much that you could describe it as a "day and night" difference.
Is the woofer in the same enclosure as it was? Is it vented or sealed? You still haven't really provided enough information yet... What have YOU done to troubleshoot, and what were the outcomes of those steps?
