I am not sure where to connect the "(-) ground output when running wire of remote start system" This the diagram for the remote starter-

green= starter+output

white= acc+output

red= 12v+input

yellow= ign+output

YELLOW /GREEN= ign/acc/start+output

red= 12v+input

next port

aux. relay port.

green= start#2-output

red= constant 12v output

blue= ign#2- output

next port

door lock port

blue= unlock-output

red= constant 12v output

next port

white= parking light+/- output

black= chassis ground

brown= horn-output

GREEN/ red= glow plugs

orange= starter interrupt- output

pink/black= activation -input

gray= aux-output

blue= hood safety- input

RED / black= brake + input

YELLOW /GREEN= oem -disarm

yellow/red= oem- arm

BLACK / YELLOW= tach input

In the aux relay port on the remote starter the blue= ign#2 - output, is that where I can connect to passlock - input wire to?

According to this thread...  https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~57443

starter wire is yellow+, ign wire is pink+, 2ign wire is dk green+, acc wire is orange +, 2acc wire is brown+.

1.the remote starter green starter +output wire will go to the yellow wire on the car

2. yellow ign +output wire will go to the pink wire on the car

3. YELLOW /GREEN ign/acc/start +output wire will go to the dk green wire on the car

4. white acc +output wire will go to the orange wire on the car.

5. does the 2nd acc wire need to be connected to the remote starter? or does the yellow/gree wire get connected to this wire?

Hopefully with this information someone will be able to help me out with this. I know an ok amount of electrical but mainly I know to ask first before I mess something up because this easy to a lot of people on this board.

GMBP

http://www.bypasskit.com/product.aspx?prodid=GMBP

It said to use a 12v, ground, purple wire to OBD connector and the (-) ground output when running wire of remote start system.

When I connect these wires, is it ok to attach the YELLOW /GREEN wire to 2nd ign and the 2 acc wire on the car? then have the white wire attached to the acc wire on the car and the yellow wire attached to the ignition wire on the car?

white= acc+output

yellow= ign+output

YELLOW /GREEN= ign/acc/start+output

Ok I got the remote starter to work and the brake to turn it off if needed. Now the only the thing to do is hook it up for the locks and I want the parklamps to come on when it is running. I cannot find where to hook up the parklamp output wire to. Does anyone know where to do this on the grand am?

Also I am assuming that the aux output will control the trunk button on the key fob?

The parklight wire will be brown(+) in the big harness running through the drivers side firewall, or brown at the BCM. grand_am_bcm.pdf

I hooked the parking lights up behind the radio to the illumination. It ended up working fine. I have to check my connections because now the car cranks but does not start. Also the door locks are not being hooked up to the rs until I have access to alldata for the power lock circuit.

Now the remote starter will only work on when the engine has been running. If I just walk up to it and use the rs it will either do nothing or it will crank but not start. If I use the key and let the car run for a minute then turn it off and use the rs it will start back up. Its a Omega Mars 22 rs. I'm using the smart wire mode instead of a tach wire, so thats hooked up to constant power. Also the gmbp I have reprogrammed a couple times.
