does anyone know anything about the avic d4? love the d3, but why did they nix the dual drives? has anyone seen an avic d3 in a 2002 excursion or f250.

i always thought my dash in the 2003 excursion was din and a half. whats your f150

I used the BKFM552 kit from best kits, and I had to modify (enlarge with a grinder) the radio bracing in the dash, but it fit pretty well and looked good as well.

As far as I know it's a standard Ford "double din" opening, with some modifiaction. The actual trim piece with the vents and air bag light, is large enough for a double din radio, just the sub frame needs modification.
