so tax time is rolling around and i want to try and get some new equipment. as far as subs go, which would you choose and why.
dd audio 9112 12", or an audio pulse axis 12".
i will also be looking at a new amp to power it, probably one of the new alpines.
i only want opinions for the subs, not the amps.
now let the suggestions come!

Speaking as the proud owner of a pre-AudioPulse woofer, (TCSounds) I love them. They are fully capable of deep, accurate, controlled bass. Reasonably loud, are very power capable, i.e. they will take significantly more than they are rated for.
I can't say anything to the dd stuff - no experience with those!
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
