I know there is a simple way to wire a single relay for the action of converting a 12V constant(BATT) input to a 12V (IGN/ACC) output.
I looked in the relay diagrams and could not identify it...
Can someone please post the diagram for this? Please include if a diode is needed and the correct terminal direction.

Terminal # 30 to a fused battery source. Terminal # 87 to what ever you want to power as an ignition source. Terminal # 85 to ground. Terminal # 86 to an ignition wire (usually connected to the ignition wire in the ignition switch harness). Install a 5 amp fuse inline in the wire to terminal # 86 for safety. The fuse installed in the battery line should reflect the current demands of the component you wish to power, so long as it isn't higher than the fuse rating for the battery circuit you are taping into. All this does is take a high cuurent battery feed and cause it to switch on/off with the ignition.

as sparkie mentioned, the relay setup is correct. Heres an easier way to read it

85 - Ground

86 - to ignition wire or ACC wire
87 - hight current 12v fused @ the recomended accessory you are powering
30 - to power the device you need
place diode across terminal 85 and 86. White (cathode) band towards 86.

Thanks sparkie and tedmond. This is exactly what I needed. I really appreciate the clarification tedmond!
