I'm installing an Autostart remote stater in a 2001 Venture with an automatic trans.  The instructions say not to connect the wire for the Parking Brake, but after I installed it, everthing works, but after a few starts I just get the parking lights blinking 15 times.  It says this is due to the parking brake input being grounded, but it is not connected to anything.  I reset everthing to clear this, it works fine for a few starts, then it goes into thislockout condition.  Does anyone have any insight into this.  The wife wants her remote starter working.

Yeah I have seen this happen before you got a defective brain. There's not much that you can do. Where did you purchase it from? You should have some warranty.

Did you cut the yellow jumper on the module before you powered up ? Make sure you cut & tape up the yellow wire so it wouldn't accidently touch together. Parking brake input wire is not used in automatic vehicle, cut it off & tape up.

chadwa2003 is correct, I had the same thing happen with another customers system that we installed. Got them a new CPU, cut the YELLOW loop and taped up the orange wire and no problems after that.
