I'm installing an Autopage rs-1000 in my 2005 Hummer H2.  The hummer has 2 accessory power wires and the rs-1000 only has a connection for one.  I have looked for a diagram to connect the other accessory wire with a relay but can't find one, does anyone have this and do I need to use a diode with the relay?

Thanks

your unit should ahve a negative out for adding additional acc or ignition wires. if you do have a trigger specifically for acc then wire it up like so.

85 - constant 12v

86 - negative trigger acc from remote start
87 - high current 12v constant fused @ 15 amps
30 - to acc wire on hummer.

incase you dont have wires for addition relays, wire it up like so.

85 - ground out while running (status output)

86 - ignition wire (+) from remote start. tap into this wire
87 - constant 12v fused @ 15 amps
30 - to second acc wire on hummer.

Think I had it backwards...

Should I wire it this way if using the IGN3 that would not normally be used on the hummer?

85 - constant 12v

86 - negative trigger IGN3 from remote start
87 - high current 12v constant fused @ 15 amps
30 - to second acc wire on hummer

diode/no diode?

thanks!

that works too. Well if you want to play it save a 1 amp diode across terminal 85 and 86. Cathode (white band) on 85
