Ran a few searches and came up empty. I'm familiar with DEI products having used them in the past, but open to any and all recommendations.

Vehicle: 2008 Scion xB automatic

Wants/needs: in order of priority

1. Security (duh).

2. I'd really love to have windows roll up and down to air the vehicle out, I like this even more than remote start and will use the feature.

3. Remote start would be nice but I had one previously and never used it.

Also, if you would post links to where I could buy it so I can get an idea of price that would be great. I have a local installer I use, but want to get an idea for cost and may even tackle it myself if I feel feisty enough. I'd like to keep the remote as small as possible as well, don't need the fancy lcd screens or bulky remote.

Thanks in advance folks!

compustar, viper or DEI in general, autopage are all high end products that are reliable and work great. the thing is, all 3 of these companies; their products are only warrentied if installed and bought from an autorized dealer.

any DEI products are bound to be good. Are you looking for a 2way or just 1 way unit. the 160xvl is not a bad unit at all. thing is its hard to find for cheap @ authorized dealers. you might want to try ebay because if you do it yourself, its not liek you get warrenty anyways.

Forgive my ignorance, 2 way, 1 way?

I just want security and the windows can be rolled down, I also dislike the large remotes, I'm hoping these can do what I need:
