hi guys-
back in the day when you had to interrupt wires and use relays for locking/unlocking, i never had issues with it not working.
my previous car used a DL-GMMULTI (by pac) to do lock/unlock via databus. occasionally (very occasionally), like 1 out of every 200 or so, the doors wouldnt lock. i would have to push the arm button again.
my alarm did have other quirks, so... was this the result of the alarm or module, or does locking occasionally not work w/databus? i just wonder if its 100% like the old school relay days.
i dont have enough experience with locks via databus so i am curious what others have seen.
thanks

Databus modules are very reliable, I have only run into a few GM interfaces that needed a stronger ground than what the new system provided. This was evident immediately after install and simply adding relays to provide a true ground pulse took care of the problem immediately.
Installer, IT support, and FFL. I need less hobbies.

remember the trailblazers that wouldn't lock the hatch if a door was open when locking with the 457G (DEI piece)? always annoyed me. still beat going into the hatch itself to do a 5-wire at the motor
