Is it possible for the upgrade to big three to have detrimental effects on other parts of the vehicle? I have a 96 yukon and have had some strange things happening after doing this, and they seem to disappear when I remove the battery+ to alt+ cable. The cable has a 150 amp breaker instead of a fuse all 1/0 stinger hpm cabling. I'm just wondering, because I know jack about the electrical stuff.

Did you disturb the OEM wiring?

Didn't move any of the oem stuff. I had a problem with the truck not starting and the shop i took it to pulled the wire I pulled recently and said it was the cause. I figured maybe not tight enough or bad contact so I basically welded the wire to the crimp on connectors, and made sure they were tight on the alternator as well as the battery. Recently I started having problems with it dying again, and my power door locks don't work. Alt was tested good, battery is new so i took the wire off and no problems again. It's at a shop right now, but I was just wondering if that was possible, especially since the oem wiring wasn't removed.
